As a medical student and now a fresh medical graduate (M.D), it can be challenging to pursue the hobbies and interests you like or to try and explore new hobbies. However, during my free time, some of the main things or hobbies that I like to do include reading books in the fields of philosophy, literature, and science as well as watching history documentaries, going to the gym, swimming, playing chess, playing video games, browsing the web, writing, taking meaningful pictures and cooking. I believe the hobbies and interests I pursue enrich my soul and mind in all possible aspects. It provides an opportunity for me to grow and navigate the world better, let alone provide a leeway from life's stressors. Video games for example are a form of art I believe, and I am quite good at them as well as chess. I would like to add that the hobbies and interests I showcased are not necessarily pursued regularly, sometimes I am simply interested in joyfully observing them. I am still learning to grow and have the passion to explore new frontiers and hobbies.
